Revive (Phase 1) Explained

Revive (Phase 1) Explained

Posted by Lauren Snyder on

While our Discover tab provides a brief overview of our two-phased approach to achieving flawless skin, we’re excited to delve deeper in our blog series! Today, let’s explore the first phase of our transformation process: Revive. As its name suggests, Revive is all about cleaning and restoring your skin, essentially bringing its function 'back to life.'

Breaking the Cycle

Remember the days of clear, luminous skin with barely visible pores from your childhood? This was due to a high cellular turnover rate, which slows as we age. Fresh, healthy skin cells were always on the surface when we were younger, but starting in our teenage years, this turnover slows down. For many, the application of mineral makeup further exacerbates this problem, leading to a cycle of acne and texture issues, which is then masked with more makeup, perpetuating the cycle.

Many of our clients come to us after years of this cycle, having tried temporary solutions and faced over treatment from the skincare industry. The first step in addressing any skin concern is to break this cycle and restore optimal skin function.

What to expect from the Revive phase:

  • Flaking skin
  • A dry, tightened appearance
  • Some initial redness
  • Clearing of blemishes and blackheads
  • An increasingly even and bright skin tone
  • Loss of pigmentation
  • Pore shrinkage
  • Fresh, healthy skin cells

Up-and-Out

Our targeted products work to draw out years of environmental debris and mineral makeup that have settled deep within the dermis. This buildup contributes to acne, rosacea, uneven texture, dullness, and premature aging. We begin by gently exfoliating the skin to bring these impurities to the surface—not stripping, but rather encouraging a natural shedding process. In our studio, we often refer to this as “flaking your way to flawless.” Within a few weeks of starting the Résolu Method, clients typically notice blemishes clearing, skin tightening and flaking, and pores diminishing.

Though skin flaking can be uncomfortable for those accustomed to moisturizers and facial oils, it is a crucial part of the process. Relying on waxes and oils is a temporary fix, not a long-term solution. Once the skin regains its ability to regulate oil production, you’ll be on your way to achieving proper skin function and a radiant complexion.

Personalized Care

We understand that no one wants to be dry and flaky for important events, and we can accommodate this by pausing the flaking process as needed. What sets Résolu apart is our individualized, hands-on approach to client satisfaction. Our Method relies on open communication, so we request weekly progress photos and advance notice of any special events you may have.

With our attentive care and tailored approach, we’re committed to guiding you toward healthier, more vibrant skin.
